The furling drum rotates on stainless ball bearing. The line fairlead is servoed on a groove that runs on the drum and the wole operates like a worm screew. The vertical translation of the line fairlead allows winding up the line without jamming.

The main is hoisted once on the furling extrusion with the sliding swivel. The furling roller rotates inside an extruded housing and is held by the aft face of the housing.

The furling line and the outhaul are both led to the cockpit.
